Renting a pontoon boat is great for relaxing on the water, and offers swimming, snorkeling, tanning, fishing, even birding along the edges of our local mangrove islands. Explore the gentle waters of Blackwater Sound, Buttonwood Sound and various waterways in our boundary area. Surprise yourself and be the first to view dolphins leaping near your pontoon boat. Watch carefully for the manatee, swimming slowly under a water ripple shaped like the number 8. Other marine life you’re likely to see includes rays, small sharks and large schooling fish. Enjoy the thrill of seeing wildlife up close with osprey, herons, egrets, cormorants, even a bald eagle. You’ll want to bring a waterproof camera to capture memories of your day on the water.
